About Us:

SMG Valves, an ISO 9001:2015 certified company, is a wholly owned subsidiary of Southern Manufacturing Group, Inc.  Founded in 1993 as a supplier to one of the largest valve manufacturers in the world, SMG Valves became a complete valve manufacturer with the acquisition of its Keyport 400 Series® eccentric plug valve from DeZurik in 1994.  In 2002, SMG Valves also acquired the Permaseal® plug valve line from DeZurik.  In 2006, SMG Valves revved up its product offerings with the acquisition of its Chem-Plug® valve from Mueller Steam Specialty/Watts Water.

Today, SMG Valves is large enough to serve you, but small enough to care.  We can offer many things that larger valve companies either cannot or will not such as valve repair/refurbishment, non-standard features such as special face-to-face dimensions, PN10/European flanges, or any kind of custom fabrication.  From small, single valve orders to hundreds of valves on a single order and everything in between, we are here to serve you.  Whether your power source is electric, pneumatic or hydraulic, SMG Valves also offers full automation for its valves.

Our employees have well over 100 years combined experience in the valve industry and have detailed working knowledge of valves, automation and the processes our valves are used in.
